Inception of Creative Whisky Company
The Creative Whisky Company, an independent bottler of single malt, grain, and blended whiskies, was founded in 2005 by David and Dawn Stirk. David Stirk, an industry veteran with a background in whisky journalism and marketing, established the company after working with Wm Cadenhead, Scotland’s oldest independent bottler.
The company began in Cambuslang, near Glasgow, and later moved its operations to Thornhill, Dumfries & Galloway in 2013.
