History of Eastside Distilling

Eastside Distilling, located in Portland, Oregon, has evolved significantly since its inception in 2008.

Originally a small rum importer, it now stands as the country’s first and only publicly traded craft distillery, listed on NASDAQ as EAST. Over 14 years, Eastside Distilling has developed and launched a variety of award-winning spirits.

Their portfolio boasts unique offerings like the Quercus Garryana barrel-finished Burnside Whiskey family, Portland Potato Vodka, Hue-Hue Cold Brewed Coffee Rum, and Azuñia Organic Tequilas.

The distillery’s mission is to make premium beverages accessible to a broader audience.

Expansion of Eastside Distilling

In addition to creating its own brands, Eastside Distilling has expanded its craft footprint through strategic acquisitions, including Big Bottom Distilling, Motherlode Bottling Services, Craft Canning + Bottling, and Azuñia Tequila.

These acquisitions have enhanced their ability to bring new and trending products to the market. Craft Canning, in particular, adds significant expertise with a team of professional bottlers and operators, serving regions like Oregon, Washington, and Colorado.

Eastside Distilling attributes its success to its talented team, acknowledging that its skills and dedication are the company’s greatest assets.

This approach has allowed Eastside to continually evolve and adapt in the dynamic craft and premium beverage industry, maintaining a focus on quality and innovation.
