History of High Plains Distillery

High Plains Distillery, founded by Seth Fox in 2005, marks a legal continuation of his family’s six-generation legacy of moonshine production in eastern Kentucky and western North Carolina.

The distillery, built from scratch on Fox’s farm, initially produced Most Wanted Vodka, a high-quality yet affordable product.

Spirit Ranges from High Plains Distillery

The vodka, launched in Kansas in 2005, expanded to other states including Missouri, Illinois, North Dakota, California, Georgia, Montana, and Texas. The distillery’s product line includes Fox Premium Vodka, Citrus Vodka, and Vanilla Ice Cream Vodka, each offering unique flavors.

High Plains also produces Most Wanted Pioneer Whiskey, aged in Missouri oak barrels for nearly two years, featuring a rich chocolate presence and vanilla notes.

Ownership

The family-owned and operated company, involving Seth’s wife Dorcie, daughter Sierra, and son Hunter, emphasizes high quality at affordable prices, challenging the standard notion that higher-priced vodka is superior.
