Overall

The 2 Gingers Irish Whiskey surpasses its cousin, the Kilbeggan Blended Irish Whiskey, in terms of taste. It boasts an intriguing origin story and exhibits a well-crafted aroma, palate, and finish.

Although I had high hopes for it, I found the whiskey to be disappointingly light and lacking in depth, to the point where it almost put me to sleep while drinking it.

One of the key marketing highlights of the 2 Gingers Irish Whiskey revolves around a cocktail called the Big Ginger, which essentially replaces the Jameson in a Jameson & Ginger.

Additionally, they promote a Skinny Ginger cocktail that substitutes diet Ginger Ale, thankfully avoiding any involvement with unsatisfactory Skinny Girl products.

However, it’s difficult to imagine the whiskey making a strong impression against the dominance of the soda in either of these cocktails.
