The Aberfeldy Distillery was founded in 1896 by John Dewar & Sons. Initially, the distillery was created to provide whisky for their famous blends. The distillery underwent a significant change in 1973 when its capacity was doubled. It wasn’t until 1999 that a permanent single malt range was introduced under the new ownership of Bacardi.
