About Aberlour Distillery
In 1879, Aberlour Distillery was founded by James Fleming, who carefully constructed it near the abundant water source of St. Drostan’s Well. Situated in the picturesque village of Aberlour within the Speyside region of Scotland, the distillery found its place as the second establishment of its name. Interestingly, a previous distillery had existed about a mile away, established in 1825 on the grounds of Aberlour House.
Today, the current Aberlour distillery proudly continues the tradition, crafting a range of remarkable whiskies.
