Rich and tangy palate, with good spice notes, citrus peels, black pepper, malt and smoke. A little smoked oyster note.

Spicy, fruity and peaty. A little burning cardboard.

The fruits were dark and warm, like apricot or nectarine and plums. Warm and rich taste.

Warm finish, again with spices and fruits and aniseed.

Cereals, lemon, dettol, mild smoke, ham. Gets sweeter as it sits and the smoke gets drier and more phenolic.
Taste
Herbal/piney, oily mouthfeel, heavily charred wood.
Finish
Long. Gets smokier and more peppery.

Very peaty and oily. Woody. Camphor. Herbal. Citrus. A little cardboard. Some late sweetness – cured ham and bacon.

Longish. Lingering sweetness.

Smoked paprika and lots of brine with a hint of strawberry, and burned orange peel

Peat, ash, soot, and again lots of brine and salt, accompanied by chili peppers, seaweed and a whiff of rubber
