Taste
Sweet peat, wet ashes in paste form, fruity again with tropical fruitiness edge, iodine and a touch of salt.
Finish
Long, ashy, peat, sweet fruit red apples. Overall it’s very ashy and velvety.
Nose
Vegetal peat (not smoky) and a gentle salty seaweed note.
Taste
A little bit of fudge and a nice leafy (young Kilkerran) note. There’s a fat, almost rich, bitterness to it. Very little sweetness.
Finish
Long warm finish of mild cigars, leaves, sea salt and toasted barley.
