This October, the city of Edinburgh warmly invites whisky enthusiasts to the Edinburgh Whisky Festival (EWF) 2023, set to be held at the iconic BT Murrayfield Stadium. With over 600 attendees expected, the festival promises to be a premier event for whisky lovers, celebrating Scotland’s national drink with a unique blend of heritage, wellness, and an extensive range of whiskies.
A Festival of Whisky
EWF 2023 will showcase a diverse array of distilleries, independent bottlers, and other whisky-related products from across Scotland and beyond. Heritage Strand
The festival pays homage to the rich history of whisky production in Scotland through a special Heritage strand. This segment will feature an exhibition and live, interactive coopering demonstrations in partnership with DIAGEO and Cambus Cooperage, providing attendees with a glimpse into the traditional art of barrel-making.
Wellness Strand
In a unique twist, EWF 2023 will also incorporate a Wellness strand, partnering with the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation. This collaboration aims to raise awareness and funds for Motor Neurone Disease (MND), a currently incurable condition, aligning the joyous celebration of whisky with a meaningful cause.
What to Expect
