The North-West’s Premier Whisky Event Returns Bigger and Better

Manchester, UK – Whisky enthusiasts, mark your calendars for the Manchester Whisky Festival 2023, organized by The Whisky Lounge, set to take place at the iconic Manchester Cathedral on Victoria Street. This grand event promises a delightful experience for both seasoned connoisseurs and new whisky explorers, offering a taste of the finest whiskies from Scotland and around the globe.

A Global Whisky Experience

The festival is renowned for attracting top distillers from various countries, including India, Japan, the USA, and England, providing attendees with an opportunity to sample a diverse range of premium whiskies. Participants can simply approach the exhibitors’ stands, request a dram, and indulge in the rich flavors and aromas of expertly crafted spirits.

Sessions and Tickets

To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all, the festival is organized into specific session times, preventing overcrowding and allowing guests to savor their drinks at a leisurely pace. The event kicks off on Friday, October 20th, 2023, from 6 pm to 10 pm, followed by two sessions on Saturday, October 21st, 2023, from 12 pm to 4 pm and 5 pm to 9 pm.

A full session ticket, priced at £50, grants access to one of the aforementioned sessions, a Glencairn tasting glass, and the opportunity to sample all whiskies available in the main hall (excluding those at ‘The Dram Table’).

Masterclasses and Shopping

Whisky aficionados can look forward to engaging masterclasses, with more details to be announced closer to the event date. Additionally, a retail shop within the festival premises will cater to all purchasing needs, offering every whisky showcased at the event for sale.

Exhibitors and Covid-19 Policies

In light of the ongoing Covid-19 situation, the organizers have implemented policies to ensure the safety and convenience of all participants. Individuals who test positive for Covid-19 can have their tickets transferred to the 2023 festival.
